Pastor Bob Garvey
Pastor Bob has been serving Wesley UMC since July 2024. He is a Lancaster county native, growing up in Millersville, PA and attending Penn Manor High School. (Go Comets!) After a 20 year career in corporate sales, Bob found his way into ministry and “life has never been the same”. He finds deep satisfaction teaching and preaching God’s Word and introducing people to Jesus.
Pastor Bob is a graduate of Cornell University (BS) and Lancaster Theological Seminary (Mdiv). When he is not pastoring, he is hanging out with his dearest friend in the world (and also his wife) Kimberly. Bob also immensely enjoys reading, training jiu jitsu, and playing rugby.
Pastor Eddie Adams
Pastor Eddie serves as the Associate Pastor at Wesley UMC, where he brings a fiery passion for helping people experience God in everyday life, both inside and beyond the walls of the church. His primary focus is building and shaping the Young Adult Ministry, while also sharing in teaching and preaching responsibilities and contributing to the ongoing development of the church’s culture and identity. What drives Eddie most is a raw desire to show up authentically in every area of ministry, helping people know and follow Jesus Christ in all aspects of life.
Pastor Eddie graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2020 with a B.A. in Youth/Young Adult Ministry and Biblical Studies. Eddie enjoys spending time with his wife, Caleigh, and their son, Judah. They are expecting their second baby boy in late February. Outside of church, Eddie enjoys lifting weights, reading, and engaging in meaningful conversations centered on faith, philosophy, and history.
